This app is an addition to the Melody Scanner cloud songbook that allows you to digitize and organize your sheet music. With the Melody Scanner App you can create on-the-go recordings of your instrument. Those are uploaded to your personal cloud songbook and transcribed to score.
You can't read sheet music? No problem, you can display notes in other views like views to piano roll or guitar tabs!

This Melody Scanner won't extract 100% of the played notes but depending on the quality of the signal the note recognition algorithm will do a good job and will give you useful sheet music suggests.
Because the detector can't separate multiple instruments you will get the best results if just one instrument is playing simultaneously or if you record your voice without any background music. Also, you should place your phone in front of your instrument, your voice or your speakers to improve the detection quality.
For best results use the YouTube music cover search function, to play along your favorite YouTube song!
Please note that the note detection algorithm performs intense mathematical calculations and although it runs on a powerfull server, it takes some time to analyze your recorded audio.
